RETHINKING THE MANAGEMENT OF OUR FORESTS FOR CLEANER AIR

Drawing on his expertise in forest carbon and the valorization of forest biomass for the bioenergy sector, William founded Forair in early 2022 with the aim of offering specialized forest management support services tailored to contemporary challenges. As head of the company's consulting division, he is responsible for its development and growth.

John has extensive experience in business development and international trade, gained in his previous roles with government organizations, where he supported the growth of hundreds of companies. He is responsible for Forair’s strategic expansion and the commercialization of its technologies. Drawing on his expertise and network, he identifies and leverages the company's business opportunities to meet market needs, in Quebec and beyond.

Since she graduated with her bachelor's and master's degrees, Marie-Soleil has developed extensive expertise in geomatics and LiDAR data processing. At Forair, she supervises geomatics activities, LiDAR data acquisition and processing, as well as operations automation using Python. Her forestry expertise and innovative approach contribute to the execution of high-quality environmental projects.

Jérôme obtained his agricultural engineering degree in France, followed by a master's degree in forestry. At Forair, he utilizes his experience gained from participating in the launch of a forest investment fund for financial analysis of forest projects and atmospheric CO2 capture as well as his background in acquisition and management of forest lots. With his studies in SME management at HEC Montreal, Jerome is also responsible for the company's finances.

Virginie has a degree in forest management and environmental studies from Laval University, which she obtained in 2023. She put her forestry skills into practice during an internship at the Forest Research Directorate (DRF) of the MRNF in 2022, where she conducted inventories. Her keen interest in technological tools and her commitment to climate issues led her to join Forair, where she develops and coordinates the carbon division.

Véronique is graduated in forest management and environmental studies from Laval University. She expanded her skills through internships, working in a laboratory as a research assistant, conducting fieldwork to monitor the quality of silvicultural operations, and engaging in urban forestry. Her committed and dynamic personality aligns perfectly with Forair, where she aims to contribute to the sustainable management of forests through concrete projects.

Holding a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Caroline has over 20 years of experience in government funding for the development and commercialization of new technologies, the execution of energy efficiency projects, and/or carbon emission reduction—the total financial aid granted through her assistance amounts to several hundred million dollars. Known for her creativity, analytical mind, thoroughness, and perseverance, her results-driven approach enables companies to maximize the benefits of available government funding.
